lpv:translated text	". I voted in favour of Mr Masip Hidalgo’s report on the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM) and the protection of intellectual property rights. The new tasks assigned to the OHIM under this new regulation will ensure greater enforcement of intellectual property rights and avoid the significant damage caused by counterfeiting and piracy to the European economy as well as to the health and safety of European citizens. I welcome in particular the establishment of a European Observatory on Counterfeiting and Piracy within the OHIM which will allow for a better exchange of information and concerted action between the various private and public parties."@en1
