"Women in armed conflicts are often powerless in the face of physical and psychological violence. The European Union repeatedly emphasises that it stands on the side of these women and I have no doubt that this will continue.
However, we can discredit even the best intentions in the name of liberal ideology. If we are trying to adopt this report in order to help women in armed conflicts, I would like to ask: how does the promotion of abortion help them? Because, alongside many good proposals, this report also calls for the promotion of specific measures such as ‘programmes providing health courses and easily accessible literature, notably on reproductive and sexual health, targeting women and men, and awareness-raising campaigns tailored to suit the cultures of the people for whom they are intended’. Calling the killing of unborn children the protection of reproductive health does not change the fact that the attempt to export, at any price, the liberal culture of death discredits us in the eyes of those we want to help. Our help thus becomes ineffective and, ultimately, pointless."@en1
