lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this report because, in armed conflicts, it is often the women and children who are the main civilian victims of the warring sides. I refer, in particular, to the use of mass rapes as a weapon of war and to sexual violence, which often go unpunished. This report stresses the role and the place of women in the military and in civilian peacekeeping operations, especially the role they can play during conflicts and peace negotiations. The report also calls for zero tolerance for sexual violence and the sexual exploitation of children and women in armed conflicts and refugee camps. It also strongly condemns the use of sexual violence against women as a weapon of war equal to a war crime. We call for an end to impunity for perpetrators of sexual violence and for women who are victims of ill-treatment and violence to be able to lodge complaints with international courts under conditions compatible with their dignity."@en1
