lpv:translated text	"Madam President, I voted for this resolution because the European Union needs a sound framework for preventing and adjusting macroeconomic imbalances. The scoreboard’s economic, financial and structural indicators will help identify the Member States which may be affected by such situations. Alert thresholds are set for each indicator. However, it is important that they are supplemented with a specific economic analysis for each country. I should highlight the in-depth assessment. This should include a rigorous evaluation of the sources of the imbalances. However, the speed and transparency of the analysis are vital. When serious macroeconomic imbalances are identified, monitoring needs to be stepped up. I support the inclusion of the economic imbalance surveillance procedure in future European Semesters."@en1
