"Mr President, I do not think my fellow Members, Mr Kurski and Mr Poręba of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group, understand what the nature of the Presidency has been and still is. The Presidency is not a time for taking care of national affairs and interests. The Presidency is a time in which European interests are settled, and in which efforts are made to bring about effective solutions, to conciliate and to build, and in this role, Poland has come forward with a variety of proposals and has been exceptionally active, which is confirmed by this debate today. I do not think you two gentlemen can hear it, as if you have come here from another planet, the planet of Poland’s Law and Justice Party, or, in Mr Kurski’s case, from the now not Law and Justice planet."@en1
