lpv:translated text	"Mr President, Baroness Ashton, allow me to welcome to the Parliament an important guest who almost certainly has high expectations of our discussion, Russian opposition leader, Mr Mikhail Kasyanov, who is here in the gallery. I believe we must thank people like Mr Kasyanov for their tenacity and courage. I do not believe they should be ignored or sidelined when we talk to official representatives of the Russian state. In the past, we had a broad dialogue with people like Mr Kasyanov and with other representatives of the Russian opposition, but I think we can also confess to having neglected this recently. In addition, I hope Baroness Ashton will inform Russian leaders that we expect greater cooperation on the continued problems in their region, since Russia, particularly with regard to the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh, could make a constructive contribution."@en1
