lpv:translated text	"Mr President, firstly, I am proposing that the content of Mr Lisek’s report is implemented, that we support this process, and that it becomes a permanent part of the defence and security policy. We have already made an important step forward with the establishment of the European Defence Agency in the Treaty of Lisbon. Secondly, I am proposing that we take seriously the objective of increasing cooperation which we have set ourselves and follow it up with action. We need a European security and defence union, but this is not possible without Treaty change. We should make a consistent attempt to do what we can on the basis of the Treaty. The report provides a good foundation for this."@en1
