lpv:spoken text	"European businesses competing at a global level should not be hindered by non-tariff barriers (NTBs), which can hamper free access to partner countries’ markets. The Commission needs to act to reduce the negative impact of unjustified NTBs, which are a barrier to trade. The EU needs to examine its trade measures in order to make sure that trade is made as open and free as possible. Trade policy should be a priority for the EU 2020 strategy and I echo calls for the Commission to address problems with the existing WTO Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade. I support the view that an early warning system be set up to identify NTBs that pose risks to trade."@en1
