lpv:translated text	"For the first time this year, the European Commission has taken an inventory of the trade and investment barriers faced by our companies in third-country markets. This initiative, which I welcome, will better enable us to combat these barriers and therefore help to open up new markets. The European Parliament’s report, which concerns this inventory, proposes additional solutions, two of which seem particularly interesting to me. Firstly, keeping an up-to-date inventory of these barriers, which companies could consult to better prepare themselves before entering a market. Secondly, putting in place an early warning mechanism based on the expertise and local knowledge of the EU delegations and foreign embassies and consulates. These two solutions can be implemented quickly without generating new costs. That is why I supported them in the vote."@en1
