lpv:translated text	"In my opinion, Europe is not doing enough to protect its industry and the service sector from its foreign competitors, which, in the meantime, are protecting themselves with internal protection measures which are much more robust and effective than our own. In any case, during trade negotiations with the largest partners and in EU production legislation, we should try to take into account Europe’s need to balance trading conditions and the quality and quantity of non-tariff barriers between us and our trading partners. I also think the issue of non-tariff barriers should be a part of all free trade agreements. We should look into the possibility of establishing an early warning mechanism to detect new unjustified barriers, and we should look again at the sensitive subject of the supply of raw materials. That is why I voted in favour of the Sturdy report."@en1
