lpv:translated text	"As a result of the financial and budgetary crisis, many Member States are unable to meet their commitments with regard to cofinanced European Union programmes. If these states cannot prove within two years of the year in which the payment is planned that they have made the funding available in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No 1698/2005, they risk having the subsidy suspended by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). A temporary increase in the highest rate of EU cofinancing will ensure that these countries can continue with their cofinanced projects. It will also prevent European Union support provided by the EAFRD from becoming unavailable. I have voted in favour."@en1
