I note that allocating these funds will not jeopardise other research programmes. It will, however, be important for the European Parliament to remain vigilant, so as to ensure that, if the ITER project does not receive the funding, it will be allocated to other programmes that have a more direct impact on the implementation of the Europe 2020 strategy."@en1
