"I voted against the resolution on the EU global response to HIV/AIDS because this resolution does not only contain provisions on the priorities of health care and improving living conditions and the treatment of people infected with the virus, which I support. The resolution also addresses the issue of abortion on demand, which has the support of neither the Polish Government nor myself. I believe that a resolution on HIV should not address matters which do not pertain to the essence of the problem, such as legal abortion, because it might mislead the public."@en1
