lpv:translated text	"I voted for Ms Berès’s report in order to denounce the current lack of democratic legitimacy regarding the definition of the Union’s economic framework, through the European Semester. The European Parliament and the national parliaments must be able to make their voices heard in this process so as to ensure its credibility. Indeed, a purely intergovernmental system of coordination is an inadequate response to the requirement for economic policies to be regarded as a matter of common concern. We must ensure only the requisite action by the Union in areas governed by the Community method. Lastly, the Annual Growth Survey must also be transformed into ‘Annual Sustainable Growth Guidelines’, aimed at enhancing sustainable growth, subject to a codecision procedure."@en1
