lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this report as I am convinced that the enlargement of the EU is an inherent part of the European project which, with Croatia’s accession, should grow stronger. The conclusion of accession negotiations with Croatia puts an end to almost six years of negotiations and several years of preparation which have changed the socio-political, economic and cultural landscape of the country considerably. Accession to the EU will allow Croatia to maintain the pace of the reforms which it has embarked upon and link it to a project which, given its geographical location, cannot be anything other that its own."@en1
