lpv:translated text	"In my opinion, the Commission’s proposal for a recast version of a regulation on statistical returns in respect of the carriage of goods by road fails to make it clear whether the new conditions for the delegation of powers by the legislators to the Commission entails a further gradual erosion of the subsidiarity principle. The scope of the delegation of powers to the Commission in the proposed new version is too broad. I agree with the rapporteur on this point. However, it is not enough to demand that the exercising of the delegated powers should not place any additional financial burden on those obliged to furnish reports. Instead, in line with the reduction of bureaucracy promised for many years, any new version or amendment should be used to help businesses by actually doing away with some of the red tape. This has not yet happened. For these reasons, I voted against this report."@en1
