lpv:translated text	"I welcome this resolution, which is aimed at producing a programme to support the further development of an integrated maritime policy, properly defining the goals of this programme, setting out clear funding conditions, and strengthening the involvement of legislators through delegated acts and reporting. I believe that it continues to be very important to maximise the sustainable development, economic growth and social cohesion of the EU’s coastal, island and outermost regions. To achieve these objectives, it is necessary to implement coherent and coordinated maritime-related policies and develop international cooperation. Furthermore, adequate and proper funding must be allocated to this programme."@en1
