The label will guarantee the quality of the selected sites, which may be monuments or natural, underwater, archaeological, industrial or urban sites, culturally rich landscapes, or places of remembrance. This decision is another string to our bow for guaranteeing, promoting and safeguarding Europe’s abundant riches, which are so often undervalued."@en1
