As the decision establishing the European Heritage Label will, I hope, be formally adopted tomorrow, we will have to work together to make this new action a long-term success. The remainder of this year and the whole of 2012 will be dedicated to the preparatory work for the implementation of the new label. This preparatory work will consist mainly of setting up the various structures needed for the selection and monitoring procedures, preparation of the accompanying documents and preparation of the communication tools. I agree that we should prepare it well and be serious about it. The first selection procedure for the award of the label will then take place in 2013. I would like once again to thank you all for your support and your very hard work. We are looking forward to continuing our excellent cooperation on this file. I would like to thank Ms Paliadeli and the successive Presidencies who have taken up this file and promoted it through to the final stages."@en1
