"It will not be possible for us to maintain our successful agriculture industry in future without an adequate bee population. Bees are very important insects, because without them, we would have no pollination and, therefore, no food production. For this reason, the constant decline in the number of bee colonies over recent years must be seen as a clear alarm signal. Bees are important for us and for our ecosystems. Therefore, we must take responsibility for protecting the bee population. We urgently need to carry out research into the reasons behind bee mortality so that we can take appropriate countermeasures. In addition, we must also provide support for beekeepers and encourage young people to enter the profession in future."@en1
