lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report because, as one of the flagship initiatives in Europe 2020, the European platform against poverty and social exclusion increases the awareness of this important issue. Poverty and social exclusion have increased in recent years; with more than 80 million people in Europe at risk of poverty, the EU must act to help the most deprived citizens. The financial crisis has put increased pressure on vulnerable groups and more must be done to help them become an important focus of European integration. I support the report, which adopts an improved budget for the fight against poverty with the important objective of decreasing the number of poor people in the EU by 20 million by 2020. In addition, it is very important that EU funds are better used to address these issues, as part of an integrated strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth."@en1
