lpv:translated text	"I welcome this resolution because it is particularly important to ensure the successful continuation of research into fusion, fission and radiation protection. Moreover, given the successful results of these activities, we must ensure that the design and implementation of the new Framework Programme is based on the principles of simplicity, stability, transparency, legal certainty, consistency, excellence and trust. I believe that only through joint efforts can we ensure that nuclear energy is used in a safer, more cost-effective and resource-efficient manner, guaranteeing a strong and socially acceptable system for protecting people and the environment from ionising radiation. Particular attention should be paid to contractual arrangements that reduce the risk of failure to perform as well as the reallocation of risks and costs over time."@en1
