For reasons such as efficiency and cost-reduction – as is the case with Jordan – Member States including Slovakia have strongly supported the negotiations over this agreement. For states that are in regions directly adjacent to the continent of Europe – which also applies to Georgia – there is another important factor in relation to the development of the Single European Sky. In addition to all of the Member States, the EU is trying to incorporate neighbouring states into this common area as well. This increases the significance of the agreement all the more, and is also a reason why I fully support it."@en1
