lpv:translated text	"I have just one thing to say: poverty and social exclusion have increased in recent years in Europe, despite the commitments made by the European Union to reduce them. As a result, in 2010, the number of people at risk of poverty was still around 116 million, which is more than 20% of European citizens. The – non-binding – resolution that was voted on at noon proposes that the Member States develop minimum income schemes based on at least 60% of the median income of each Member State of the European Union and calls once again on the European Commission to work towards introducing appropriate legislation.
