"This report states that 116 million people in the EU are at risk from poverty, a truly shocking figure. Too many people in my own country are living in dire conditions, and Scotland remains one of the few places in the world to have discovered oil yet got poorer. Years, decades and centuries of London rule have brought about this situation, and only with Scottish Independence will we be able to build the fair and just society that our nation should take for granted."@en1
