lpv:spoken text	"Madam President, in my opinion, the report on the reform of EU State aid rules on services of general economic interest is of concern as it extends the definition of social services of general interest, which could be to the detriment of competition across the whole of the EU single market. The value-creating potential of the private sector will not be fully realised as long as the public sector still has unfair competitive advantages applied to it. The privileges enjoyed by the public sector therefore have a negative impact on the EU’s economic strength as a whole, and should be terminated immediately. Failure to come to this conclusion is why I have voted against this report."@en1
