"My question is to Commissioner Hahn. It is along the lines of the peace programme that was implemented in Northern Ireland, some of the events that have unfolded, and the contribution it made towards consolidating peace in my constituency.
With the negotiations on the next multiannual financial framework on the future of the cohesion policy about to begin, can the Commissioner tell me and the House that the Commission will continue to press for a future PEACE IV package for Northern Ireland? I ask this question because I want to make it very clear that I have a suspicion at times that many in the Commission believe that Northern Ireland is a done deal and is totally resolved. Yes, Northern Ireland has come an awfully long way, but we still have a long way to go. I would be grateful for his answer on that."@en1
