The basis for such a request is the alleged legal uncertainty as to whether the draft agreement complies with EU data protection legislation, as well as supposed doubts concerning the choice of its legal basis. However, I do not believe that such reasons actually remain, so I voted against the motion for a resolution, along with the Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats), to which I belong."@en1
