"Mr President, Mr Lewandowski, Mr Dominik, in this committee there is basically one line in the budget which is of interest: trans-European transport networks. In fact, the proposal for cuts in this line in comparison with Parliament’s draft budget was the greatest, as it was over 10%. As far as the committee is concerned, this line is a fundamental priority. Furthermore, the Member States are also saying that trans-European transport networks are among their national priorities. So I do not see the consistency in Mr Dominik’s speech when he said that levels of payments should not interfere with national priorities. In this instance it would seem that they are interfering. I would like to welcome the response of Mr Lewandowski, who wants to be a spokesperson for our affairs concerning the reduction in payments proposed by the Council."@en1
