"It is high time that the structures of the International Monetary Fund were reviewed in order to make it a more political body, to stop the policy of intervening in exchange rates, and to adopt global rules to distinguish between speculative and traditional banking operations. The members of G20 should agree to apply a global tax on financial transactions and, at the same time, should adopt stronger financial regulations and supervision at global level.
