"According to studies carried out on behalf of the European Union, labour migration has always had a positive effect. As some jobs are not attractive to European citizens, labour migration has made it possible to meet the demands of the labour market.
In order for workers to take jobs in other countries, measures to harmonise social security, the protection of workers, language requirements and taxation are needed. As a result of the changing structure of the labour market, it is important to coordinate the improvement of qualifications and to speed up the process of recognising them. The report calls for a comprehensive mobility strategy to be drawn up and I agree with this."@en1
