"The inclusion of the European Union’s 80 million disabled people is of the greatest importance in creating a society that is more active and sustainable in relation to the ageing phenomenon in Europe. Inclusion, in both society and the labour market, offers new opportunities for the future of employability in Europe. Disabled people and older people could be the real answer to the future of employability in Europe. The difficulty of movement and communication solutions mean that disabled people are often unable to find opportunities for training, education or work. I voted for this report because I believe disability should be approached differently. I also believe there is a need to remove barriers to accessibility, to promote special communication techniques for deaf people and those with impaired hearing, and to create new, inclusive education systems."@en1
