lpv:translated text	"I voted for this report because I think that the obstacles hampering people with disabilities from exercising their fundamental rights must be removed. Europe needs to provide people with disabilities with the wherewithal to enjoy their full rights and participate in Europe’s social and economic life. In light of this, the EU should encourage Member States towards harmonising their policies and strategies for people with disabilities. I must mention that these people are one of the groups hit hardest by the financial crisis in Europe. In my country, creating an effective model for integrating people with disabilities is the main goal of the National Organisation of the Disabled. At the moment, three projects financed by European funds are basically aimed at integrating people with disabilities into the labour market in Romania."@en1
