I support the EU’s policy of reducing emissions. However, in light of independent studies and statistics compiled by the Commission showing that more time is needed to enable manufacturers to develop new systems, I agree with the Commission proposal of postponing by three years the date for the entry into force of the new obligations regarding emissions of carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons and particulates."@en1
