"Madam President, I welcome Mr Kósa’s report, as I have always supported the full integration of disabled citizens into society. I hope we will soon see a single European mobility card. Countries provide their own disabled citizens with a system of reductions, increasing their mobility and their chances of finding employment. As soon as these people cross a border, however, they lose the support. At the same time, the system of reductions based on the student card has been running for years, not only throughout Europe, but also in many other countries of the world. We are talking about the integration of disabled people. I firmly believe that we would like to ease the situation of all the people whose everyday lives are burdened by a disability, and that we do not wish to discriminate between them. I am therefore concerned that the report makes special mention of certain organisations, thereby undermining the general principle of the report."@en1
