Therefore, it is my belief that a comprehensive review of our taxation system is essential. Currently, the European economy is directed towards services based on new technologies, resulting in further changes in the market. In addition to this, there are still significant disparities in tax rates between Member States. Therefore, I support Mr Casa’s report regarding the future of VAT in the EU, and I have voted in favour of its adoption."@en1
