"The European Parliament has tabled a motion for a resolution requesting an opinion from the Court of Justice on the compatibility with the Treaties of the Protocol setting out the fishing opportunities and financial compensation provided for in the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Kingdom of Morocco. In supporting this motion for a resolution I pledge to enforce the Treaty of Lisbon, which stipulates that the European Parliament must give its consent to any international agreement concluded by the Member States."@en1
