"I voted against this so called six pack of regulations on economic governance. This is an attempt to use this crisis to further integrate the member states into a federal union by taking away from them the ability to set their own budgets. This is the most fundamental power a nation has. The six pack is being held out as part of the cure for those heavily indebted countries who are now said to be a threat to the euro and the EU itself, but it is already too late. Instead these countries should be allowed to exit the euro and save themselves."@en1
