". Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, let us face it, the European Union is bankrupt already. This is slowly dragging the Netherlands into a sinking morass. The EEC was adamant that countries like Greece should adopt the euro despite the enormous risks which it was aware of beforehand. As a result of that decision, we are now dealing with a crisis of unparalleled proportions. Meanwhile, the Dutch citizens are being asked to foot the bill. The Europhiles, who have created these problems, now even want to go a step further. President Barroso, for example, is now openly advocating the introduction of Eurobonds. That is an absurd idea, Mr Barroso. The euro crisis was caused by the southern euro area countries being allowed to borrow money too easily. The last thing we need now are Eurobonds because they will make it even easier for Member States to run into debt. That is the recipe for another crisis. Who do you think you are actually representing, Mr Barroso? Surely, you realise that Member States such as the Netherlands fiercely oppose these Eurobonds. Why are you not supporting the countries which are still keeping the European Union going? Mr President, the situation is clear as far as we are concerned: Mr Barroso has sided with the euro sinners. In the meantime, Member States, such as the Netherlands, whose household budgets are in order, are being squeezed out like a lemon in order to foot the bill for fraudulent Greece, for example. Mr Barroso, as far as my party, the Dutch Party for Freedom (PVV), is concerned, you might as well clear your desk and go and look for another job. The President of the Commission ought to protect the interests of all Member States. The PVV is of the opinion that you are not capable of that."@en1
