The floods that have affected various parts of the planet even in recent years bear witness to the fact that the flooding issue is dependent on other factors and requires detailed preventive and infrastructural solutions. Working both on the environmental aspects, to reduce the level of CO emissions, and on the infrastructural aspects, to avoid natural disasters that would have serious repercussions on the economic growth of developing countries, is therefore an important task that we must tackle by common methods."@en1
