"Tourism represents an opportunity for the European economy for a number of reasons. Indeed, while there are strong ties of integration among the Member States, they manage, at the same time, to offer a diverse range of tourism products, which appeal to different audiences. It is also a singular way of promoting ‘Europe’ as an area of excellence, and of disseminating its cultural values and standards. However, commitment to tourism requires the various Member States to be linked by a network, high levels of professional qualifications to be sought for people working in tourism, and identification standards to be created, such as brands that make it possible to effectively highlight the added value that Europe brings. I voted in favour because I agree with this course of action."@en1
