"I voted against this report. The EU has a duty to ensure that dual-use items do not get into the hands of oppressive regimes which can then use them against their own citizens. Whilst the report offers support for human rights, democratic principles and freedom of speech, the controls contained within its provisions do not go far enough."@en1
