We cannot continue to plan our commercial strategy on the premise that the current situation in international trade will remain. The Global Europe strategy has been a failure and I think that the Commission ought to investigate the reasons behind this. We need critical and detailed analysis, but especially an overview of how to deal with future economic challenges.
