"I voted in favour of this text because I believe that it correctly highlights the full commitment of all the institutions to supporting a multilateral trading system in which the World Trade Organisation (WTO) will act as the guarantor of a trade system regulated by suitable measures. The WTO has a key role in ensuring better management of globalisation, more equitable distribution of its benefits and well-balanced economic growth. A balanced and fair conclusion of the Doha negotiations would be an important sign of political confidence in the future of an equitable global trade system based on shared rules."@en1
