lpv:translated text	"I voted for this motion for a resolution on the state of play of the negotiations on the Doha Development Agenda (DDA). This is because it maintains the conviction in the timeliness of the 2001 objectives of creating new trading opportunities, strengthening multilateral trade rules, addressing current imbalances in the trading system and putting trade at the service of sustainable development. It places particular emphasis on the economic integration of developing countries, especially the least developed countries (LDCs), arising from the conviction that a multilateral system based on more just and equitable rules can contribute to fair and free trade at the service of the development of all continents. The timeliness of these targets is unequivocal to the extent that Parliament’s passing of this resolution is not merely symbolic: it adopts it with the idea of communicating the desires of Europeans to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and with a view to contributing to the Eighth Ministerial Conference in Geneva, which will take place from 15 to 17 December 2011."@en1
