Nonetheless, we must ensure that, in certain circumstances, this transparency does not become an obstacle to ongoing developments in the documents and negotiations, or even become paralysing, or a sort of forced opposition to change. Members of Parliament must be able to work completely independently. I fully agree that transparency and openness should apply to Members of Parliament, in terms of their participation in parliamentary work and their attendance.
