"The European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) was set up in 2006 to provide practical support to workers made redundant either for reasons associated with the relocation of their companies or, following the 2009 amendment, on account of the economic crisis, in order to assist their reintegration into the labour market. On 20 December 2010, the Netherlands submitted an application to mobilise the EGF in respect of redundancies in nine enterprises operating in the NACE Revision 2 Division 18 (‘Printing and reproduction of recorded media’) in the NUTS II region of Overijssel (NL21) and supplemented it with additional information up to 7 March 2011. With today’s vote, we have authorised the allocation of EUR 718 140."@en1
