"− With regard to this report, the responsible Commission services have approved the request to mobilise the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund, a European instrument for assisting people who have lost their jobs as a result of the competition created by the distorting effects of globalisation. Indeed, there are no stumbling blocks or examples of non-compliance in the application submitted to the European Commission, and the criteria required in order to launch the procedure for mobilising the Fund have been met. I therefore voted in favour."@en1
