"Microenterprises employing less than 10 people make up 91% of all European enterprises. In spite of the growth in the last ten years in the number of women running small and medium-sized enterprises, barely one tenth of all European entrepreneurs are women. As someone who has many years’ experience in business, I am pleased by the measures for increasing the numbers of women entrepreneurs. The motion underlines not only the introduction of a policy which will allow women to maintain a proper work-life balance, but also underlines the need to promote financial support in the form of special grants or micro-credits, as well as structures providing occupational guidance."@en1
