The monitoring of this type of good and its categorisation into items under international control regimes is not only a commercially sensitive topic, but also a topic that is, in essence, related to security matters. In my opinion, it would be useful to support effective and transparent control regimes enabling the monitoring of international trade in technologies that can be misused for military purposes, and particularly for developing and producing weapons of mass destruction.
